After his daughter had been raped and strangled to death by serial killer Gary Ridgway, Robert Rule tells him he is forgiven. This gives me chills because I know very well that people don’t have the power to do this alone. You can’t just forgive someone for that. This is true christianity and this is what the church ought to look like. Gary Ridgway was proven guilty of 49 cases where he murdered innocent women. He appears to be a psychopath feeling no remorse…. but you can see in the end that when he hears for the first time that he is forgiven, it makes him cry. Whatever you believe, this is moving.
